I am going to lay my cards on the table. Rosh Hashanah - the Jewish New Year - is by far my least favourite Jewish festival. And the reason is simple. After 40 years of life, I still haven’t the faintest clue what it’s about. And I defy any reader to provide a satisfactory explanation.
